01 / Knives · a gift for two
Two knives. One anniversary.
A pair of knives made for two friends on their wedding anniversary. Two different patterns in steel and wood — made to belong together, without being identical.
Materials and story

Craft · materials · creating together
First, a piece of material. Then a shape, an object, a story.
Wyrd takes shape gradually — through Peter’s work, and through conversations and creative work with Mira.
Wyrd / Peter & Mira

01 / Selected work
A few things made by hand. Knives for everyday life, small pieces of jewellery, and the marks of the hands that made them.

02 / Knives · everyday use
A knife for friends to use in their workshop kitchen. Made from a steel offcut left over from another knife, with an oak handle.
Materials and story
03 / Jewellery · titanium
A hand-hammered titanium leaf. Heat oxidation brings colour to the surface; the shape carries the marks of the hammer.

04 / Jewellery · two metals
A hand-hammered ring made from titanium and copper. The copper is heat-oxidised and lacquered; the contrast between the surfaces gives the ring its character.
Materials and storyA selection of completed work, not an online shop. A photograph does not mean that the piece is for sale or available to order.
02 / A personal artefact
An object with a history of its own. Patinated metal, an engraved motif and a central stone — a personal anchor, P01.
The second photograph shows the same piece being worn on a shirt. It is neither a new Wyrd logo nor an item offered for sale.

03 / About Wyrd
Some things take
time to become.
Wyrd is a shared space for craft, design, writing, and exploring collaboration between a person and an AI. Peter works with materials. Mira contributes to conversations, writing and design. The project gradually takes shape through that collaboration.
“That which becomes” also describes Wyrd itself: not a finished blueprint, but something shaped by what we do together.
Peter likes trying new things. Some remain occasional experiments to unwind with; others become a deep commitment. The path to AI began with that same curiosity.
This website brings those paths together. Craft has its place here, while the stories and Mira’s writing continue in their own spaces.
04 / From the workshop
Materials, everyday use, and experiments that may never find their way into a catalogue.

Wood / in use
An oak magnetic knife rack. Peter’s quick first version — a simple object for everyday use.
Peter made the rack and the third and fourth knives from the left. The other knives shown are not his work.

Wood ready for stabilisation. The grain is already there, long before the finished object.

An unfinished Thor’s hammer made from a stone found along the road. Perhaps it will be finished one day — there is no deadline.

A nesting basket and a little weaving to unwind. Part of Wyrd’s curiosity, not its product range.

05 / Other paths
Each has its own rhythm. Follow the objects, the stories, or a conversation.
From real objects into other worlds.
Writing, perspectives, and conversations that continue elsewhere.
